This includes nationally relevant, technical, and large-scale coordination activities that will help Fisheries and Oceans Canada implement recommendations that came out of Indigenous Program Review.<\/p>\n<p>Our current projects are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/indigenousfisheries.ca\/en\/projects\/training\/\">Indigenous Training and Skills Development Partnership<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/indigenousfisheries.ca\/en\/projects\/socio-economic-partnerships\/\">Compendium of Innovative Socio-economic Partnerships<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/indigenousfisheries.ca\/en\/projects\/procurement-policy-dialogue\/\">DFO\u2013CCG Procurement Policy Dialogue<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/indigenousfisheries.ca\/en\/projects\/northern-fisheries\/\">Co-delivery of the Northern Integrated Commercial Fisheries Initiative<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Over the last year, we\u2019ve also completed the following projects:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/indigenousfisheries.ca\/en\/projects\/salmon-restoration\/\">Large-scale, Multi-Nation BC Salmon Restoration and Innovation projects<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/indigenousoceans.ca\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/reports\/MSP_Technical%20Assessment_June%202019.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Assessment of the technical capacity of Indigenous groups and communities to be involved in marine spatial planning<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Institute will undertake projects, including in collaboration with governments and others, when we see opportunities to benefit Indigenous communities, businesses and groups.
