It is modelled after the Atlantic and Pacific programs, while addressing unique needs of the North. It also introduces a redistributive model of programming that will help communities address food security issues and bring fish and seafood products to local markets.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/indigenousfisheries.ca\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/03\/Northern-Integrated-Commercial-Fisheries-Initiative.pdf\">Northern Integrated Commercial Fisheries Initiative final report<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Infographic: <a href=\"\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Redistributive-Model_Final-EN.pdf\">How does the Redistributive Model work?<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Institute is collaborating with Fisheries and Oceans Canada and other partners in the roll-out of this Northern program.
